Privacy Policy
This notice describes Tail Notebook’s current launch configuration. It is a practical description of observed site behavior, not a guarantee of compliance with every privacy law. Applicable rights and duties depend on the operator, hosting location, visitor location and services in use.
Information you provide
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. Please use it for general questions, factual corrections, copyright concerns or privacy requests, and avoid confidential or unnecessary sensitive information. Submissions are sent through the WordPress site’s configured mail system to the site administrator. The theme does not save the message in a separate contact database. Actual mail routing and mailbox retention depend on the hosting and mail providers.
Technical information and security
WordPress and the hosting provider may process IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps and security logs to deliver and protect the site. The contact form uses a short-lived hashed address token to limit repeated submissions; it is not intended as an identity profile. WordPress administrator sign-in uses necessary cookies. Visitors do not need an account to read the site.
Cookies, analytics and Google Tag Manager
At the time of this notice, the GTM4WP plugin is installed, but its container is switched off and no GTM container ID has been entered. No Google Analytics or other visitor analytics service is configured by the site. WPCode contains an active styling-only snippet; its global header, body and footer script fields are empty. The theme does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, this notice and the site’s consent controls will be reviewed before any consent-dependent tracking is enabled.
Advertising and related plugins
Ads.txt Manager is installed, but no seller entries have been supplied. Reserved advertising areas do not currently load an ad network. No advertising personalization or ad cookies are configured by the site. UpdraftPlus is used for backups; a manual backup was created on the hosting account. No remote backup destination or recurring backup schedule is configured. Backups may contain site content and technical data and remain subject to the hosting account’s storage and access controls.
Use, sharing and international processing
Information is used to operate and secure the website, respond to a message, address a reported error or rights request, and maintain backups. The site does not sell contact-form submissions. Information may be handled by the hosting provider and by mail or infrastructure providers needed to deliver the site and messages. Those providers may process data in countries different from yours; their locations and safeguards depend on the operator’s hosting and mail arrangements, which have not been fully documented here. External source links lead to independently operated websites with their own policies.
Depending on applicable law, a relevant basis may include responding to a request, operating a requested service, legitimate security interests or a legal obligation. The operator must determine and document the actual basis for each processing activity where required.
Retention and your choices
The site has no universal retention period for contact correspondence. Messages may remain in the recipient mailbox and its backups; technical logs and site backups are retained according to hosting settings. Ask through Contact Us for access, correction or deletion of information you sent. We may ask for enough information to find the message and must consider applicable recordkeeping or legal obligations. Cookie controls in your browser can also limit cookies, though administrator sign-in may then be affected.
Children and changes
This general publication is not designed to collect children’s personal information. Contact the administrator if you believe a child has submitted information. This notice will be revised when site services or data practices materially change; the date shown by WordPress indicates the page’s latest publication or edit.
Privacy contact
Use the Contact Us form and identify your message as a privacy request. The operator’s legal name, jurisdiction, direct privacy mailbox and hosting/mail provider locations still need to be supplied by the site operator before this notice can be treated as final.
